Painted Lady

Finally, I've managed to complete the Face Painting project from the Sunday class with DJ Pettit held in Melbourne at the Creative Soul Retreat in March. Having never painted before, I was amazed how DJ was able to teach us her technique and translate that to each of us resulting in a lovely painted face. From the photo I took of DJ's final mounted picture, I was determined to complete mine and managed with what little fabric bits I have here to obtain a similar look. I'm quite happy with the result. The photo here makes her face look a little patchy of white marks, but in fact, she looks better than this shows.
